Hi. I am so glad you are here.

So let's see...about me...

The way the sun light filters through the trees...or the stark contrast of a gray asphalt highway surrounded by pale yellow hay fields resting beneath an aqua colored sky...these are the things I notice.

In one of my favorite movies, Elizabethtown, one of the characters goes around pretending to snap photos of random moments with a make believe camera. She notices something she deems memory worthy, forms a rectangle shape with her two index fingers and thumbs, and then moves the right index finger in a push button motion while making the "click" sound with her tongue...forever freezing that moment in her memory. I find myself doing the same thing often, even if i don't always act it out. The thing is, most of our minds/memories don't really work that well and some of our memorable moments get lost along the way. But luckily, cameras pick up where our minds leave off - And that is why I have passion for photography and videography.

I believe it is a great privilege to

be a noticer and a documenter of life.

Other random facts about me: 

I am a momma of two curtain crawlers, a wife to a dapper outdoorsman, and I am addicted to pizza - could eat it everyday of my life. In most social settings I'm very quiet and reserved until familiar and then I can be all kinds of goofy. I am a loner with a small circle and actually dislike social media. I'm totally a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl and on most days you can find me with my hair in a ponytail and cap, wearing glasses and no makeup.
